The Hem 23 Build Out

Working on new projects is always such a rewarding and exhilarating experience. Each restaurant that we get the chance to build out and design is like a breath of fresh air. We get the opportunity to try new materials, different color palettes, unique lighting and design new fixtures and furniture. With our latest build out we had the chance do all of the above. 

What is it?

Today we are excited to share with you: Hem 23. Owner of upcoming restaurant, Tuan Lam has been working with us over the past 4 years on his La Sen Vietnamese Grill restaurants but this time he wanted to switch things up. We are so excited to collaborate with him on his most recent venture, Hem 23. Hem in Vietnamese means alleyway so you will find that this bar will depict similar features of traditional Vietnamese alleyways with texture overload.  Much of Vietnamese city life happens in the alleyways so we were excited to bring in those same feels we found on our travels last year to Vietnam.

What role will Shelter play in the build out?

Branding, Signage, Interior Design, Full Material Selection, Custom Artwork, Custom Tables, Custom Booth, Murals from Hankbuilt, Custom Seating and Custom Railing to name a few.

What will it offer?

Hem 23 will offer a full menu of authentic Vietnamese food and a full bar with handcrafted curated drinks.

Custom Mural and Wall Installations, Cement Tiling Under Bar, Custom Booth Seating and Custom Railing. 

When will it open?

Hem 23 will be opening Winter 2017. An exact date has not yet been picked but don't worry we'll keep you updated.
