Hydroflask Dawn Patrol

We opened a can of worms on our latest project and in a great way, the kind of way when you load one on a hook and know you’re about to catch a lunker. 

It all started when our buddy and fellow designer and builder Erik Johnson reached out and asked if we’d like to be part of an upcoming project working with Field Scout Creative on a job for Hydroflask. The opportunity entailed designing and building the back end of two Toyota Tacoma’s in a way that could house a full Hydroflask lineup and create room for the people of Hydroflask to have a pour over coffee mobile, that could tour around the PNW serving up coffee and showing what their products were all about: adventure. This build out would include drawers and slide outs that could fit like they were meant to be in the back of the Tacoma as if Toyota had designed it themselves. So with our new handy dandy CNC machine we got to work measuring and making things as precise as we possibly could. We welded up a frame that the drawers and slides would fit into, we found some locks that would ensure their gear was safe and sound on the road. And bada bing bada boom, we came up with a rad set up. 

Which leads us to our can of worms. The really good can of worms, remember? 

The finished product turned out even better then we anticipated, so we are stoked to announce we will now be outfitting rigs to have custom set ups. So if you’re that fisherman ready to catch some lunkers and need the back of your rig to have a spot for your gear and a nice place to lay your head after you’ve cooked your fish on that fire you made with your own hands, we got you. If you’re that surfer that needs a spot for your boards, a place to store that wet, wetsuit and a place to keep that 6 pack cold for your after session brewski, we got you.  Whatever you’re thing may be there is a way to make the back of your truck more efficient which will get you doing what you love faster and easier then you ever thought possible. So come one, come all and lets start this party.
